Finished shoulder and lifesize mounts in the Beaufort West workshop

Raw prep / Dip & Ship

If you would rather have your trophies finished by a taxidermist at home, we prepare the raw hides and skulls so that they meet the veterinary requirements for export.

Skulls are rotted, boiled, bleached and dried. Hides are soaked, pickled, salted and dried. Turnaround time is roughly four months.

Custom-made to your preference

Every cape is tanned in our own studio, which lets us watch each skin through the full process rather than trusting it to someone else. Our materials are imported from the United States, while flat skins and back skins are handled by established South African tanneries.

Shoulder and lifesize mounts — roughly 10 months

Lifesize Mounts

The full animal, posed as it stood in the veld. Lifesize work suits predators, primates and smaller plains game where the whole body tells the story.

Shoulder Mounts

The classic trophy presentation. Head, neck and shoulders mounted to the wall, with the cape tanned in-house and the pose matched to the animal.

Pedestal Mounts

Freestanding mounts on a finished base, meant to be walked around and viewed from every side. Ideal for a trophy room or an open living space.

Wall Pedestal Mounts

Head and neck mounted on a wall-fixed pedestal. It carries more of the animal than a shoulder mount while taking up less floor space than a full pedestal.
